Bburago Mercedes SSKL 1931

The first series of Bburago Diamonds #3002 Mercedes-Benz SSKL came out in 1978, and was produced without any major changes until 1987. During the first year of its production a version of it was sold as a "Desk Pack". It was mounted on a plastic desk tidy-all which came with a Bburago agenda. The model presented here is one of them. How can one tell apart an older series SSKL from a newer one? They are mostly recognizable from their exhaust manifolds which are not connected and from their knock-off wheel hubs which do not have a hole but the Benz emblem (logo) on them. Their seats are also brown instead of black. Some later series of them also came with one or more of the same features so it's always best to have the old box saved with the model.
